The Ministry You Have Been Waiting For!

Taking The Great Commission Seriously
At THE28th.LIFE, we believe Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:19-20 is more than a message to remember—it is a mission to live.
We are committed to helping people know God, follow Jesus, grow through His Word, and make disciples by sharing the hope of Christ with others. Through biblical teaching, prayer, community, and service, we seek to faithfully carry out the Great Commission in everyday life.

Our Story

Our Story
Sometimes, the biggest things God does begin with what seems like a chance meeting.
A pastor, a church lay representative, and a conference attendee found themselves in the same place at the same time. It may sound like the beginning of a joke, but it was actually the beginning of THE28th.LIFE.
What followed wasn’t chance at all.
Through countless conversations, earnest prayer, and a shared burden for the Church, it became clear that something was missing. Too often, outreach, missions, and ministry had begun to focus on the results rather than the reason. Programs had become more important than people. Activity had begun to overshadow the calling.
Together, Pastor Devin, Reverend Eric, and Nanette committed themselves to returning to the foundation Jesus Himself established—the Great Commission.
His command was never complicated.
It was simply:
“Go.”
Go into the world.
Love people.
Make disciples.
Serve others.
Share the Gospel.
Those simple words became the heartbeat of THE28th.LIFE.
The vision didn’t become reality overnight.
Years were spent praying, planning, dreaming, and asking God to reveal His timing. There were countless brainstorming sessions, long evenings of discussion, and moments when the only thing left to do was stop striving, trust God’s plan, and wait.
When His timing arrived, everything began to move.
A vision for a permanent ministry center took shape.
Training programs were developed.
Mission opportunities began to grow.
Resources were created to equip believers for lives of faithful service.
Podcasts, educational materials, file sharing, and hands-on ministry experiences all became part of a larger mission: preparing ordinary people to live extraordinary lives for Christ.
The next question became, “How do we reach people?”
The answer was simpler than we expected.
We started with a website.
Before long, we realized that many people—especially younger generations—were no longer walking through the doors of a church. They were searching for connection, encouragement, and truth online.
If people weren’t coming to the Church, then the Church needed to go where the people were.
That realization expanded our vision to include social media, digital discipleship, online training, and new ways of building authentic relationships that reach far beyond the walls of a building.
Because ministry has never been about a location.
It’s about people.
That commitment is reflected in our mission:
“No Soul Forgotten. None Left Behind.”
THE28th.LIFE did not invent the path we walk.
The foundation was laid more than two thousand years ago by Jesus Christ Himself.
We simply strive to follow in His footsteps.
Our prayer is that every outreach, every mission trip, every training event, every sermon, every prayer, every conversation, and every opportunity to serve points people toward Jesus.
We are committed to being His hands and feet in a world longing for hope.
Whether you join us in person, serve on a mission team, volunteer at an outreach event, participate in training, or simply take your first step in faith through one of our online resources, our desire is the same:
That you would encounter Jesus Christ.
That you would grow as His disciple.
And that you would one day help someone else begin their own journey of faith.
Thank you for taking the time to learn our story.
We look forward to meeting you, serving alongside you, and watching together as God continues to write the next chapter of THE28th.LIFE.
May God richly bless you.
No Soul Forgotten. None Left Behind.
