A Detailed Overview of Our Core Mission and Strategic Goals

Biblical Authority and Discernment

We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God and serves as the final standard for faith, doctrine, and practice. Accordingly, The28th.Life is committed to maintaining a thoroughly biblical foundation in every aspect of its ministry.

Our beliefs, governance, leadership, discipline, and organizational structure are established upon the principles of Scripture and are guided by the lordship of Jesus Christ. We affirm that true wisdom and direction come from God alone; therefore, every decision, initiative, and ministry endeavor begins and ends with prayer, seeking the guidance, discernment, and leading of the Holy Spirit.

We are committed to faithfully stewarding this ministry in a manner that glorifies God, upholds the truth of His Word, and reflects the character of Christ. In all things, we seek to remain obedient to Scripture, dependent upon the Holy Spirit, and devoted to advancing the Kingdom of God with integrity, humility, and love.

At THE28th.LIFE, our mission is to help people know God, grow in faith, and live out His purpose by taking The Great Commission seriously.

Inspired by the words of Jesus in Matthew 28:19–20, where He calls His followers to “go and make disciples of all nations,” we believe every believer is called to participate in sharing the hope, truth, and love of Christ.

We exist to create pathways for people to encounter God through Scripture, prayer, community, and meaningful resources that connect faith to everyday life. Through digital tools, personal relationships, and intentional discipleship, we seek to help people discover who God is, understand His Word, and grow into faithful followers of Jesus.

Our mission is to:

Connect with God — Building a personal relationship with Him through prayer, worship, and Scripture.

Grow in Faith — Developing a deeper understanding of God’s Word and becoming more like Christ through discipleship and community.

Live the Mission — Sharing God’s love, serving others, and making disciples wherever God has placed us.

We believe the Great Commission is not just a command for a select few—it is a calling for every follower of Jesus. Whether through personal conversations, local communities, or digital connections around the world, we are committed to sharing the Gospel and helping others take their next step toward God.

THE28th.LIFE exists to help people take The Great Commission seriously—one person, one relationship, and one life transformed at a time.

At THE28th.LIFE, our vision is to see a world where every person has the opportunity to know God, grow in relationship with Jesus, and actively participate in His mission.

Guided by Matthew 28:19–20, we envision a growing community of believers who take The Great Commission seriously by making disciples, sharing the Gospel, and living out their faith in every area of life.

We envision a ministry that uses both personal relationships and modern technology to remove barriers, connect people to God’s Word, and create opportunities for spiritual growth wherever people are on their journey.

We see a future where:

People Discover God
Everyone has the opportunity to encounter God’s love, truth, and purpose through Scripture, prayer, and authentic relationships.

People Grow Together
Believers are encouraged, equipped, and strengthened through discipleship, community, and shared faith experiences.

People Live the Mission
Followers of Jesus confidently share His message, serve others, and become disciples who make disciples.

Our vision is to build a connected, Christ-centered community that reaches beyond traditional boundaries—bringing hope to the searching, encouragement to the weary, and practical faith resources to people around the world.

We believe the Great Commission is still our mission today.

THE28th.LIFE exists to help people take the next step in their faith journey and become part of God’s ongoing story of reaching the world for Christ.

Our Core Values

At THE28th.LIFE, our values define how we pursue our mission of taking The Great Commission seriously. They guide how we create resources, build relationships, serve others, and help people grow in their faith.

These values are rooted in the teachings of Jesus and our commitment to making disciples as He commanded in Matthew 28:19–20.

1. Biblical Truth

God’s Word is our foundation.

We believe Scripture is the source of truth, wisdom, and guidance for every area of life. Everything we teach, create, and share begins with a desire to understand and apply God’s Word faithfully.

We are committed to:

  • Studying Scripture with humility
  • Helping people understand the Bible
  • Applying biblical truth to everyday life
  • Encouraging lifelong learning and spiritual growth

"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." — Psalm 119:105

2. Knowing God

A relationship with God changes everything.

Faith is more than information—it is a relationship with our Creator through Jesus Christ. We desire to help people move beyond simply knowing about God to personally knowing Him.

We encourage:

  • Prayer as daily conversation with God
  • Worship as a lifestyle
  • Trust in God’s presence and guidance
  • A deeper relationship with Jesus

"Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." — James 4:8

3. Discipleship and Growth

Every believer is called to keep growing.

Following Jesus is a lifelong journey. We believe spiritual growth happens through Scripture, prayer, community, and intentional practice.

We are committed to:

  • Helping new believers build a strong foundation
  • Equipping believers to mature in faith
  • Encouraging accountability and spiritual habits
  • Developing disciples who help others follow Jesus

"Go and make disciples of all nations..." — Matthew 28:19

4. Taking The Great Commission Seriously

Every believer has a role in God’s mission.

Jesus called His followers to go, make disciples, baptize, and teach. We believe this mission belongs to every Christian—not just pastors, missionaries, or church leaders.

We seek to:

  • Share the hope of Christ
  • Encourage conversations about faith
  • Reach people where they are
  • Use every available opportunity to make disciples

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations..." — Matthew 28:19

5. Community and Connection

Faith grows stronger together.

God designed us to live in relationship with Him and with one another. We believe authentic community provides encouragement, support, accountability, and opportunities to serve.

We value:

  • Prayer groups
  • Fellowship
  • Encouragement
  • Sharing life together
  • Supporting one another through every season

"Encourage one another and build each other up." — 1 Thessalonians 5:11

6. Prayer and Dependence on God

Prayer is our connection to God’s power and direction.

We believe prayer is not simply a religious practice—it is an ongoing conversation with God and a vital part of following Jesus.

We prioritize:

  • Personal prayer
  • Group prayer
  • Listening for God’s guidance
  • Trusting God with our needs and challenges

"Pray continually." — 1 Thessalonians 5:17

7. Serving Others With Love

We demonstrate God’s love by serving people.

Jesus modeled servant leadership and called His followers to care for others. We believe faith should be visible through compassion, generosity, and action.

We commit to:

  • Serving with humility
  • Meeting practical needs
  • Encouraging those who are hurting
  • Being the hands and feet of Jesus

"Serve one another humbly in love." — Galatians 5:13

8. Innovation With Purpose

We use today’s tools to share an unchanging message.

Technology and creativity are tools that can help connect people with God’s truth. We seek to use multimedia, digital resources, and new approaches with wisdom and purpose.

We are committed to:

  • Removing barriers to faith resources
  • Creating engaging ways to learn Scripture
  • Connecting people beyond physical boundaries
  • Using innovation to support discipleship

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." — Hebrews 13:8

9. Authenticity and Grace

We meet people where they are and encourage them toward who God is calling them to become.

Everyone is on a different part of their faith journey. We believe people grow best in environments marked by honesty, grace, patience, and love.

We value:

  • Authentic conversations
  • Honest questions
  • Compassion over judgment
  • Grace-filled relationships

"Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you." — Romans 15:7
